About Verse
Verse is a free AI music generator. Paste your lyrics, pick a genre, mood and vocal style, and Verse creates an original song for you in a few minutes, with vocals, melody and arrangement. There is no account to create and nothing to install, and you do not need to learn prompt writing. Make your first song.
How it works
- Write your lyrics. Type or paste up to 4,000 characters, or choose the Instrumental vocal option to make music without singing.
- Choose your sound. Set the tempo, genre, mood and vocal style.
- Pick a length. Songs can be from 15 seconds up to 2 minutes long.
- Press Generate. You will see a short wait, and then the song is generated. The page shows an estimated time while it renders, and you can chat in the Render Lounge meanwhile.
- Listen. Your finished songs are listed under My songs in the same browser.

- Moods: Dreamy, Happy, Sad, Energetic, Romantic, Dark, Hopeful, Melancholic, Aggressive, Peaceful, Nostalgic, Uplifting, Mysterious, Epic, Warm and Intense.
- Vocals: Female, Male or Instrumental.
- Tempo: five steps from Very Slow to Very Fast.
- Length: 15 seconds to 2 minutes.
Free, anonymous and AI-generated
- Verse is free to use and has no accounts. Your songs belong to an anonymous session in your browser, so keep your own copies of songs you care about.
- The Render Lounge is an anonymous chat where you can share a 15-second preview of your song. Full tracks are never shared.
- Every song is machine-generated and labelled as AI-generated music. If you publish one elsewhere, please say that it is AI-generated.

Frequently asked questions
Is Verse really free?
Yes. There are no paid plans. Creating a song may involve a short wait before it starts.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Verse works without an account. If you clear your browser data or switch browsers, you lose access to the songs made in that session, and we cannot restore them.
Can I write lyrics in my own language?
Verse accepts lyrics in several languages, including English and Korean. Results can differ from language to language, so it is worth trying a short song first.
How long does it take to make a song?
Usually a few minutes, depending on the length you choose and how many people are using Verse. The page shows an estimate while the song renders.
Why did my song end before the length I chose, or fail?
Generation time and length are approximate, so a song can end earlier than requested, and a render can occasionally fail. A failed render can be retried for a limited time.
Can I use my songs commercially?
Verse does not claim ownership of the songs you create. AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright in your country, and you are responsible for checking that your use does not infringe anyone else's rights. Read the Terms before you publish or sell a song.
Can I make a song that sounds like a real singer?
No. You may not imitate a real person's voice or identity, or present AI-generated audio as a real recording of someone.
Are my songs private?
Full tracks stay private to the browser session that created them. Only a 15-second preview is shared, and only when you press Share.
